Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov (KBSU) is one of the leading universities in the North Caucasus and a major centre of higher education, research, and innovation in southern Russia. Founded in 1957, the University has evolved into a multidisciplinary academic institution offering a wide range of programmes in natural sciences, engineering, medicine, social sciences, humanities, and information technologies.
